Cora N. Sternberg, MD, FACP established the not-for-profit Samuel and Barbara Sternberg Cancer Research Foundation in 2004. Dr. Sternberg earned her Undergraduate and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her training at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. Dr. Sternberg is the Chair of the Department of Medical Oncology at San Camillo and Forlanini Hospitals in Rome, Italy. She is the director of the Inpatient and Outpatient Day Hospital, Breast Cancer Unit in addition to leading Cancer Research.
 
Dr. Sternberg is a scientist of the highest caliber, highly devoted to research. Dr. Sternberg’s extensive knowledge of Oncology and methodology of clinical trials has placed her among the most revered doctors in the world. She has sought to maintain the highest level of patient care through excellence in clinical care, research and education. She is highly respected internationally for her scientific capabilities, and has made a significant contribution to the treatment of cancer. In particular, Dr. Sternberg is a world-renowned key opinion leader in the field of Genitourinary Oncology.
