Mr. Samuel Yesashimwe is the Lead Consultant at ITECH-CONSULT. He established the company in 2012 and started his career in 2010 and an IT professional and consultant. He helps businesses & organizations in the use of technology to improve business performance and effectively support strategic business plans. Samuel is an "approval consultant" who offers homologation services to manufacturers, importers and consulting companies that want to have their telecommunications equipment certified in Rwanda and the rest of the East Africa with proven experience in both programs and projects management.
Samuel was prompted to go into this field from when he worked with a company at the start of his career and one of his first projects was to work with Blackberry devices and he saw there was a lack of knowledge and opportunity to fill the gap. He does a lot of speaking with Digital Opportunity Trust. In September he was on a panel at the E-Learning Africa Summit in Kigali, Rwanda.
In the future, his goals are to enter into the big data field with increasing involvement in information technology and data analytics. He says the key to his success has come from hard work, education and discipline. He is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
