Who’s Who Recognizes N. Scott Gillis

N. Scott Gillis is an early-retired CFO with an impressive resume, including roles at SunAmerica and AIG. Scott was with AIG for nearly 30 years before taking his early retirement. Scott’s expertise lies in risk and financial management, as well as strategic vision.

Scott has been putting his expertise to use as a member of many boards. He is the Board Director & Audit Committee Chair of LiquidMetal Technologies Inc. Additionally, he is on the boards of Global Hope Network International; Campus Crusade for Christ, International; and Act Beyond, Inc. He has recently joined the advisory board of Insurance Thought Leadership Inc. (www.insurancethoughtleadership.com). He has previously served on the boards of insurance, mutual fund, broker- dealer and investment holding companies, and for many years held series 7,24 and 27 securities licenses. He holds the designation of Board Leadership Fellow from the NACD.

Scott is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Corporate Directors Group, the National Association of Corporate Directors, the American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs, the Financial Planning Association and Financial Executives International (FEI).

 He holds a BA in Accounting from Florida State, and is a licensed CPA and CFP.
