Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes  William Furlonge

 
William Furlonge, CEO of BGMWRF INC., has over 25 years of experience in marketing and advertising. No stranger to hard work and change, William established the business after 12 hears of working in the hotel industry, and a full career as a police officer. He struck out on his own, establishing BGMWRF INC. in May of 2013, and has been successful in all his endeavors.
 
William attended the Ottawa Police College, holds an Associates degree from Cornell University in General Management/ Hotel/Motel Administration/Management, and also received an Associates degree in Critical Incident Response/Special Police Operations.
 
Before pursuing a career in the hotel industry, William served as a Police Officer for 31 years in Antigua and Barbuda, and received the police long service medal. He relocated to Florida in 2003 from Antigua. He was recruited into the hotel and hospitality industry after completing the paper, ”Tourism in the Caribbean,” while he was studying at the Ottawa Police College in Canada. After he accepted an early retirement from The Royal Police Force of Antigua, William began his new career in the hotel industry in 1993, as a General Manager for several properties for Elite Islands Resorts Ltd., during his 13 years of service.
 
William is a recipient of the Long Service Award from The Royal Police Force of Antigua, 2003, and the Bronson Virgin Award for Palm Island Beach Resorts while managing the resort in 2003. In addition to his career and schooling, William is a Public Notary of Florida, and a 4Corners Alliance Group Affiliate. He opened and managed the Oceanside Inn Hotel in Daytona Beach Florida, in 2003-2006. He also managed the Palm Beach Resort in the Grenadines in 2003 when the resort was nominated and received the Bronson Virgin Award as Best Small Hotel in the Caribbean.
 
William is an affiliate member of Empower Network, and he makes it a life goal to donate and give of his time to families who experience the trauma of cancer. William is passionate about providing a good, solid education for his four children. He volunteers his time teaching Sunday school and helping his fellow church members. He was recently responsible for helping 30-40 church members save their homes by representing to mortgage lenders on their behalf. At work, he is always involved in training new employees to set them up for success. William enjoys time with family in Apopka, Florida. For recreation, he likes soccer, football, and cricket.
