Stephen Wormith, PhD is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. He also serves as Director at the Centre for Forensic Behavioral Science and Justice Studies at the university.
 
Educated at Brown, Stephen earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology before going to complete a PhD in the field from the University of Ottawa.
 
His most recent research includes risk assessment of adult and young offenders, assessment and treatment of sexual offenders and mentally disordered offenders, crime prevention, youth and street gangs, evaluation of effective correctional intervention, public attitudes towards the justice system, and criminal justice policy and legislation. With multiple publications in his area of expertise, Stephen’s work can be found in Criminal Justice and Behavior, The Canadian Journal of Police and Security Services, and Forum on Corrections Research, to name a few.
 
Stephen’s organizational affiliations include the American Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association. He enjoys hockey, and currently lives in Saskatoon, Canada.
