Ahmed Fikry is the Vice President and Regional Manager at Engineering Consultants Group (ECG), a multi-disciplinary and a long established firm of highly qualified consultants whose expertise in large and complex projects covers all major disciplines of design and construction. With a 45-year history and branches spread all across the GCC, Middle East and Africa, the firm offers architecture and design, construction, project management, planning, and engineering services. They specialize in the transportation, water and wastewater, and energy industries, with a focus on urban development, buildings, and mixed-use projects.
 
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ain Shams University in 1993, Ahmed rose through the ranks in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates working for Kajima, as the Owner of Grips, and in project management for ECG, Dubai Municipality, and Sama Dubai. He then earned a Master Certificate in Project Management from Regis University in 2004, and received his Real Estate Diploma, from the Royal Institute of Technology and DREI in 2008. He then became the Development Director for the Dubai World Trade Center.
 
Ahmed has also spent 2 years as the Owner of the Angel Diving Institute, the leading diving institute in the Middle East. Under Ahmed’s vision, the school has provided high level diving instruction for all ages, promoting safety and helping to spread his love of the water.
