Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Cheryl Fattibene

Cheryl Fattibene is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the State Practice Manager for CVS Minute Clinic, the revolutionary walk-in clinic system founded by pharmacy giant CVS in 2000. Today there are nearly 1,000 MinuteClinic locations inside CVS/pharmacy stores in 32 states and the District of Columbia, providing diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses, injuries and skin conditions; the administration of vaccinations, injections, health screenings and physicals as well as monitoring for chronic conditions. As State Practice Manager, Cheryl is responsible for both the business and clinical aspects of Minute Clinic activity for the entire state of Pennsylvania, and was recently awarded by CVS for her excellence in district payroll oversight and employee retention. She also serves as media spokesperson for the state, often representing CVS and discussing healthcare issues on television and the radio.
 
After earning a dual undergraduate degree in English and French at the University of Rouen, Cheryl went on to complete dual master’s degrees at Yale University: a Master of Nursing from the Yale School of Nursing and a Master of Public Health in Community Healthcare from the Yale School of Medicine. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and often speaks at the University of Pennsylvania  and other venues as a guest speaker for retail health issues and the role of the Family Nurse Practitioner. Cheryl also published an article on the importance of pap smears in the American Journal of Managed Care. Prior to her career in health care, Cheryl pent 4 years as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa and has worked on international health care initiatives through the World Health Organization.
 
Cheryl lives in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, where she enjoys running, bicycling, and keeping up-to-date with her reading. She continues to volunteer, and has mentored and taught children as part of the Youth Mentoring  Partnership program. She speaks fluent English and French, and is a member of Francais Accueil in Philadelphia.
