Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Christel Heckmann

 
A known heavyweight in the Nordic world of finance, Christel Heckmann is Senior Vice President/Global Head of Loan Capital Markets at Danske Bank, Corporates & Institutions. Her role consists of overseeing Corporate Loans, Leveraged Finance and Loan Management, which includes loan origination and management, and sponsor strategy and  coverage, and capital allocation of the Leveraged Finance portfolio. She heads a unit of 75 FTEs situated in the four Nordic countries. Corporate & Institutions is the wholesale banking arm of Danske Bank and offers a complete range of products and services targeting the needs of large corporate and institutional clients in the Nordic region. Their international presence in 13 countries means that they can be a natural gateway to the world for Nordic companies and the entry point to the Nordic markets for multinational companies. They apply a holistic approach, using insight from their close customer relationships to continuously develop their products and services.
 
Christel holds a BA in Finance from the Copenhagen Business School and has more than 15 years experience within loan origination, acquisition and leveraged finance and more than 25 years of experience with Danske Bank group. In conjunction with her role at Danske, she is a board member of the Nærum Private School.
 
Currently residing in Holte, but spends her spare time traveling and exploring the world with her family.
