Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Dr. Paolo Cioni
Dr. Paolo Cioni has been in the Psychiatric branch for the past 30 years. A psychiatrist with long-term community, hospital and academic experiences, he is currently practicing as a consultant in the clinical and forensic fields. He has been published with all the major Italian editors in the branch of psychiatry, and is the author of many books and reviews of psychiatric interest. “Neuro-esclaves“, about mental manipulations of all kinds, was successfully presented in Paris in March 2014 (22000 hits of the videoconference on YouTube and 12000 of the interview). He also recently published “Paranoia: Between Leadership and Failure,” which expands paranoia from the individual level to sociology and politics. The message is that paranoia is a dangerous condition. It is underestimated and contagious, especially in a world where the Internet dominates. Paranoid websites are expanding their influence every day while society is unable to defend itself.
Lately, Dr. Cioni is using a psychophysiological approach to objectively measure emotions for clinical and forensic purposes. Eventually he would like to expand use of equipment to measure emotions in order to make evaluations for forensic purposes as well the outcome of various therapies.
In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, reading, listening to classic music and he also plays the guitar. He can be regularly seen speaking at conferences throughout Italy, and in some occasions abroad. He lives in the historic, beautiful city of Florence, Italy.
