Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes John Costello

 
John Costello is the Vice President of Global Quality and Compliance for Maquet Medical Holding, a design and development company that sells innovative treatment solutions and infrastructure functions for extremely demanding hospital departments, including operating rooms, hybrid operating rooms, catheter laboratories and intensive care units as well as intra- and inter-hospital patient transportation. With over 34 years of experience in medical device manufacturing and toy manufacturing quality assurance, John stepped into his new role at Maquet in March 2015. Previously serving Maquet as the Director of Global Compliance, John ensures the successful implementation of the Quality System Regulation globally for the company and that all devices meet medical device standards.
 
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, John rose through the ranks of quality assurance at companies such as Parker Brothers, Hasbro, Pfizer, Boston Scientific Corporation, Navilyst Medical, and AngioDynamics.   He has consummate expertise in managing third party audits, which helped him facilitate quality system remediation during a major corporate turnover.
 
John attributes his success to having a great work ethic, which had always been a family principle. He is a member of the ASQ and affiliated with AdvaMed. Today, he lives in beautiful Saratoga Springs, New York, where he enjoys golfing in his spare time.
