Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Kenneth H. Pun

 

Kenneth H. Pun is the Founding Partner and the Director of the Governmental and Not-for-Profit Practice of his own firm, The Pun Group, LLP (formerly known as Pun & McGeady LLP), founded March 2012. Kenneth has over 15 years of public accounting experience and specializes in audits, reviews, federal compliance, and litigation support. The firm applies a unique mix of skill sets and experience to address matters of the utmost importance to an enterprise such as managing through a business crisis or bankruptcy, planning and executing a major acquisition or divestiture, pursuing a fraud investigation or corporate litigation, and other top level business challenges.

Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Pun was a Partner with Caporicci & Larson, a specialty CPA firm recognized as one of California’s foremost experts in governmental and not-for-profit accounting. Kenneth was employed by the firm for over 10 years and performed numerous audits for cities, counties, transportation agencies, community college districts, other special districts, and non-profit healthcare entities of various sizes.

In 1999, Mr. Pun has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting, from the University of California, Riverside. Kenneth is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He does both internal and external speaking, including speaking at the California Community Colleges Internal Auditor Conference in 2006 and the California Society Municipal Finance Officers Conference in 2014. Mr. Pun speaks on topics related to audits, municipal bankruptcy and quality control and shares his expertise with clients through his annual educational seminars.

Kenneth is also a part of various associations including: CGMA, American Institute of CPA’s, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Government Finance Officers Association, California Society of Municipal Finance Officers, California Society Government Accounting and Auditing Committee, and other professional affiliations.

Kenneth H. Pun believes the key to his success is his passion and hard work. In his free time Kenneth enjoys playing golf and tennis, doing lots of traveling, and reading the Wall Street Journal.
