Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Laëtitia Malinen

 

Laëtitia Malinen is the Managing Director of Nordic Birth Basket, a revolutionary website that makes the Finnish custom of baby gift boxes accessible on an international scale. As a native French citizen who relocated to Finland, Laëtitia was thrilled that the Finnish government sent her a gift box containing motherhood essentials when she was expecting her first child. The gesture proved to take an immense strain off the transition into motherhood, as she was readily prepared with all the necessary items to manage and care for her first baby. Realizing this would be a phenomenal gift for mothers across the world, Nordic Birth Basket was born. Laëtitia manages all marketing and outreach endeavors of the company, which fully embodies its mission to mission is to help young parents access products they need during the first 10-12 months of their baby’s life, regardless of the child’s gender – and without unnecessary stress.

Practical as well as ethically driven, Laëtitia has overseen all levels of product design, production and distribution for Nordic Birth Basket. She chose her baskets with her customer in mind, and customers are able to get extra value because her baskets can also be used as a crib, saving families on a tight budget an additional expense. Nordic Birth Basket also sends monthly support to the charitable organization Nourish the Children, which provides meals to needy children across the world.

After graduating from the AUDENCIA School of Management in France, Laëtitia moved to Finland in 1999. She grew her expertise in event and project management in positions with Nouveau Koulutus, Sigma Kudos Finland, and West Finland College. She continued to grow her marketing and management experience with Nordic Birth Basket and Nu Skin Enterprises.

Laëtitia credits her success to her two sons. She looks forward to continuing to develop her business, so that one day that she may pass it on to them. Laëtitia speaks French, Finnish, English, and some Russian. She hopes to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs to share knowledge and continue her efforts to pioneer the new parenthood experience across the world.
