Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Qin Zhou

Qin Zhou is a JSD Candidate and Research Assistant at the City University of Hong Kong School of Law. Focusing on several key projects including for the OTC Securities market and Corporation Governance of the LEEs, Qin collects and analyzes data, formatting it into charts to present and organize his findings. An aficionado of the history of law as well as law itself, Qin also conducts comparative study about relevant statues, regulations and other legal practice.
 
After completing a master’s degree in Law from Beijing Technology and Business University, Qin went on to complete a second master’s in Law at Northwestern University in the United States, where he remains an active member of the Law School Alumni reunion committee. Before launching into his current studies of banking, corporate, finance and securities law, he worked as a Judicial Clerk and interned for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. He also conducts independent consulting work, most recently for the Clutch Group.
 
Qin is among the highest level of academically performing students in the country, and looks forward to completing his doctorate in 2017 and staying on the frontier of his rapidly evolving industry. His article “On the Valuation of Virtual Property in Chinese Judicial Practice” was recently published. In his spare time, Qin enjoys hiking, playing basketball and Chinese painting. He speaks fluent English and Chinese.
