Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Roy Mendoza-Trudeau
Roy Mendoza-Trudeau is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Texas Mgt. Associates Inc., a technical and management solutions firm offering support service solutions across a range of technical, military and transportation industries. Having been in his role as CFO for over 12 years, Roy oversees all financial aspects of Texas Mgt. Associates. His responsibilities include payroll, generating financial reports and project analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and working with the DCMA and DCAA on financial audits and contracting. Roy is known for his ability to adapt to new situations and technology, and has been a financial visionary and watchdog for the company.
With a desire to meet the local economic needs for employees trained within manufacturing, technical and administrative skills, Roy developed TMA Compass a not-for-profit division of TMA. TMA Compass is a program is an effort designed to target post-secondary educational offerings with direct apprenticeship opportunities with a special focus for women and other underrepresented populations in apprenticeship, including young men, and women of color, people with disabilities; low-skilled populations; and veterans, including transitioning service members.
TMA Compass – Technology, Manufacturing, and Administrative Pathfinders program is completing year two working with Alamo Colleges and Northside Independent School District Science and Engineering Academy. The eight-week summer program currently brings high school seniors into the workplace where they are exposed to the various areas of not only TMA but small business and many of the clients we serve such as Boeing, Toyota and the Department of Defense. Having added post college graduates this year into the program Compass is begun the foundation for a countywide effort.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Institutional Management from Texas Tech University, Roy managed accounting and finance for a number of large organizations across a breadth of industries. He served as a Property Accountant for Wyndham Hotels International, a Facilities Director for Motorola Inc., and as Regional Director of Human Resources for Council Travel (STA Travel). Not one to be boxed in by convention and limitations, Roy holds certifications in Education, Federal Aviation Administration In-Flight Regulations, Medical Administration, Pharmacology, Conflict Resolution, Change Management, Six Sigma and training and development.
Roy is an active member of his community each place he has called home, he has served on the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board of Sacramento County, Board Member of the Advisory Board for Harper College, Board Member for the Guadalupe-Parkway Neighborhood Center. He speaks English, a working level of Spanish, French and Turkish and hopes to connect with professionals on a global level to share knowledge and exchange ideas about the future of business, aviation, and finance.
