Dr.Telles is an Academic Adult Cardiac Surgery Consultant at The Hospital de Santa Marta.  Her main responsibilities include operatin adult cardiac surgery cases, pre and post operative  intensive care patient management, inpatient and outpatient consultations, coordinating services, and training students. She received her Docor of Medicine (MD) from the Nova Medical School. Dr. Telles attributes her success to perseverance, hard work, quality of patient care, passion for knowledge and educating young medical professionals. Her greatest joy is achieving good surgical results and patient satisfaction, as well as educating medical students in graduate level. She prides herself in her compassion and quality patient care and education. Dr. Telles believes teaching young professionals compassion and empathy,  along with technical and scientific knowledge, is the key to improving future patient care and quality of service. Outside of work she enjoys reading, urban recuperation and historical research.
