Richard Crites started practice in Tucson, Arizona, specializing in Domestic Practice, Personal Injury Practice, Medical Malpractice and Representation of Law Enforcment Officers and was one of the first, if not the first attorney to sue for a law enforcement officer. He is and has been a law enforcement officer [Deputy Sheriff] for four separate counties in Missouri, Pulaski, Stone, Christian and presently Lawrence County, Missouri. He has a background as a Taser instructor, Law Enforcement Officer, and a Certified Instructor for the Missouri Public Safety Officer Training Program. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, training, physical fitness, shooting, reading and novel writing and being with his grand children.

I am starting my 49th year of law practice, and I am licensed to practice in Arizona & the Arizona U.S. Dist. Court, 9th Cir. U.S. Court of Appeals,& the Northern District of Texas U.S. District Court, & and the Western District U.S., Dist. Court, State of Missouri; & the 8th Cir. U.S. Dist. Court. I am a Certified Force Science Institute, Use of Force Analysis, 2010 and I Completed Los Angeles Police Department Office Involved Shooting Training, 2008. I have represented and assisted approximately 100 or more law enforcement officers who used deadly force. I am licensed by the Missouri Department of Public Safety Licensed as a Peace Officer and Specialist Instructor. I have been a TASER Instructor. and graduated from the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training Academy, 2003. I have taught in that Academy periodically since 2004.
