Vera Dias has a passion for communication that has shown up in a variety of ways in her career. An independent communications consultant with more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications, she has successfully supported large companies such as IBM, AT&T and SAP, and is a highly seasoned communications professional.  She firmly believes in networking and building relationships as a key success factors in her field.
 
In her current role as an independent communications consultant at VD Comunicação, she is focused on helping leaders and their teams improve performance and impact change with an eye toward continued growth and increased market share for their clients. She operates as a Senior Consultant in Communication with functions such as the planning and implementation of communications and public relations strategy, media relations and event organization. She manages national and international clients and is in collaboration with communication agencies in other countries, and also keeps a presence in international agency events. Through a collaborative, informed approach, Vera provides clarity, energy and deliberate quality practice management guidance for corporate clients on an international scale. She holds over 20 years’ experience representing Fortune 500 Companies.
 
As a woman in her field, Vera believes she has much to exchange and learn professionally and personally with other women. Foundational to the continued success of Vera and her team, is a constantly evolving methodology based on tested and proven practices that draw on excellence precedents across a variety of key areas including strategy development, planning and execution, executive counseling, crisis management, employees enablement and engagement, traditional and digital publishing, branding and coordination of global projects. Ms. Vera Dias is also a prolific author and novelist whose works can be found under her own brand name.
 
She earned her MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and completed her BA in Communications and Journalism at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Vera loves reading and loves to write, and has written novels that have been published in recent years.
